Learning Module FAQs

How much time do I need to spend working in my Learning Module?

Students who are close to a placement threshold may be able to cross that threshold with only a few hours work in their learning module, but you should expect to spend 10-12 hours or more working in your learning module in order to see significant improvement in your mastery of the material.

Do I need to use my learning module if I placed into my target course?

You will be more successful in your math and quantitative courses if your ALEKS score is better than the minimum required for entry into those courses. So even if you have placed into the class you want to take, we encourage you to continue to use the appropriate learning module to review and deepen your preparation for your classes!

Can I change my Learning Module?

No.
